Starsky and Hutch
Starsky and Hutch Review Formula = 70s Style + Fistful of Flavor + Cops and Robbers
Starsky and Hutch is an action packed comedy based on the hit 1970's television series of the same name. True to the plan, Starsky and Hutch are two disco era detectives, but the similarities end right around there.
Officer Dave Starsky is brought to the big screen by Ben Stiller, and Ken 'Hutch' Hutchinson by Owen Wilson. With Stiller and Wilson teaming up for yet another picture, Starsky and Hutch shows their dynamic acting abilities. Having collaborated on Zoolander and The Royal Tenenbaums, this duo is not out for repeat roles.
The Bay City cops get a little help from a slick, ever-himself Snoop Dogg, playing their informant, Huggy Bear. The three are out to crack the case and bust Vince Vaughn and his evil handlebar moustache. Starsky and Hutch take the good cop / bad cop game back into favor after Tango and Cash left it in ruins so many years ago.
Directed by Todd Phillips (Old School, Road Trip), the movie is peppered with supporting roles by a fistful of mega stars like Juliette Lewis, Chris Penn and Carmen Electra as well as cameos from the original Starsky and Hutch television stars, Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul.

Posted by: Sheb Money at March 8, 2004 04:37 PMYou know what? I wansn't crazy about it. Owen and Mr. Stiller were way better in the Tenenbaums. Vince Vaughn pulling off a pink suit were the best 5 minutes of the film.

Wilson and Stiller are definitely a great combo, they play off each other well..
