Sony Classic Release, House of Flying Daggers, was a recipient of the 2004 Cannes Festival Official Selection. This beautifully filmed picture is a love story wrapped inside of an action film. House of Flying Daggers tells of a passionate emotional journey, in which three people suffer for love it tears them apart, yet they are willing to sacrifice everything for it. With such a widely varied emotional tapestry to convey, it is no wonder director of photography Zhao Xiaoding chose to work with Cooke cinematography lenses to capture the essence of the directors vision.
