Super Size Me
Formula for the Super Size Me Review = Medical Danger + Extra Cheese + Extra Mayo + Extra Laughs
Super Size Me is a faux documentary about one man and his mission to eat McDonalds for every meal for 30 days. No one said it was a good idea.
In fact, Morgan Spurlock had three doctors, a cardiologist, a gastroenterologist, and a general practitioner, all tell him it was a very bad idea. After about twenty days, they reviewed that prognosis and restated the experiment as a life threatening binge. Super Size Me has the counter intuitive result of making the viewer hungry. Watching a man gorge himself over and over can't help but make you hungry (pardon the gastric bypass and vomit scenes).
Unless you're tipping your own scale up over the 250 mark, I'd urge you to rush out and see this movie immediately. If you are that heavy, seeing this film in public may be a little bit uncomfortable for you, as the humor and gluttonous shame is directed at, sorry to say it, you and your fat self. Better wait for the DVD. Super Size Me is a surprisingly unpartisan, hilarious review at American consumption habits. There is no question Morgan Spurlock was a man with an agenda. That said, Texans and McDonalds stockholders beware.
